Wes Kohring - Youth Minister
Wes grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee and attended Lipscomb University where he graduated with a Bible degree in 2003. He is married to Cristal and they have two sons, Jonah (6) and Micah (4) and adopted their little girl Grace in 2012. Wes is currently in his eighth year of youth ministry, having served in churches in Colorado and Texas. In his spare time, he enjoys being with family, reading, playing golf, playing basketball, and cheering on the Big Orange Tennessee Volunteers and Detroit Tigers. He also loves Vanilla Diet Dr Pepper from Sonic during Happy Hour. Wes started his ministry at Landmark in June of 2010.
What a tremendous honor it is to help lead a youth ministry at Landmark that has some of the most incredible teenagers on the planet! I believe youth ministry is one of the coolest creations God ever came up with and I love getting to be a part of it. By the grace of God and through the power of the Spirit, I want to do everything I can to help teens go to great depths in their understanding of God, His word, and what abundant life in Christ is all about. My prayer for our kids is that they will taste and see that the Lord is good (Psalm 34:8) and they will continue in their faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope in the gospel of Jesus Christ (Colossians 1:23). Please know that I feel incredibly blessed to serve alongside parents and their teenagers. Cristal and I are passionate about youth ministry and we love the church. Thank you for letting me join you on this journey. Let's pray for God to do the things that only He can do in the Landmark family and youth ministry!
